On this page, I will show screenshots that help set up the positioning of Grant and Jason in the room.

This screenshot is from when Grant and Jason were trying to recreate the footage. In the left side of the splitscreen, you can see the corner ,of the recorder that Grant is holding, in the bottom right corner. The edges are red, the center is white.

The above image is a screenshot from the footage of the "figure". This is from when Jason was panning the camera to the left and then up the locker. In the bottom left corner, you can see the corner of the recorder Grant was holding, again it is white with a red edge.

The screenshot above is also from the footage of the "figure", again it shows the top corner of the recorder, this was a few frames before the previous image. In these 3 images you can see that the recorder is giving off alot of heat and IR energy, and this could have reflected off of Grant, adding to his IR emissions and allowed for his reflection to be picked up by the thermal imaging camera. The natural IR given off by Grant might have been enough to create a reflection, but this this is another possibilty.

These images also hint at the positioning of Grant and Jason. Jason was behind and to the right of Grant, in relation to the locker.

The above image illustrates where I figure everyone was in the room. The camerman might have been just inside the room, or just at the door. This is just a guess, but I think it is supported by the footage.

* New content *

This section of the page will address the issue of the colors of the locker "figure", and how they can be possible if it is Grant's reflection.
The point of contention dealing with the colors was brought up on the TAPS forum by a few people. It was asked why the colors of the figure and locker looked so "cool", why weren't they "hot", if it was Grant's reflection.

There are a couple of pictures I have posted below  that I will be referring to in this explanation.

The two pics are screencaps from the episode from the time right before the "figure" showed up on the thermal cam. As Jason and Grant entered the room where the locker was located, they were panning the camera around the room. The two stills are a couple of seconds apart in the footage. The part that interests me in these two pics is the coloring. In both pics, the colors transition from red, to yellow, to blue and green towards the center. These pics are several seconds apart in the timeline of the footage, yet the same color variations are present in each.  If you watch the footage, you will see that the center of the image is always blue/green(I will include links to the footage below). It would seem that no matter where they had the camera aimed within that room, the variations of the colors within the image stayed consistent, with the center being blue/green and the outer edge being red/yellow.

* New evidence and footage *

This section contains new "evidence" and footage from the episode they filmed in New Jersey. You might wonder what that episode has to do with the Crescent Hotel episode and the locker "figure". Read on and you will find out.

I will again be referring to several pictures that I will post below. I will also have a link to the footage I am talking about.

The footage I am referring to is from the very beginning of the episode, when they are detailing what will happen in the episode, and showing little snippets from the show. It is only a few seconds long, but when I first saw it I knew it would be useful in the debunking of the locker "ghost" .I watched the entire episode hoping I would see a longer clip, but they never showed more of the part they had at the beginning. It is about a  2 second clip of some of the thermal  camera footage from their investigation. They seemed to have been filming in the room with the mirror on the door(I think it was a bedroom). When I saw the clip, there seemed to be something familiar about it. I am going to post a still from the footage below, followed by a comparison photo of it side by side with what it reminded me of. I think you will see what I mean when you look at them.

The picture on the left is a still from the Crescent Hotel episode(also it is on the first page of this site). What I noticed is the striking
resemblance between the two pictures. The new one is from the thermal camera and is a shot of Jason or Grant's(I am pretty sure it is Grant's) reflection in a mirror. The one on the left is the one I think is Grant's reflection off of the locker. In both pictures, the heads are green/yellow, the bodies are blue/green.  The one main difference between the two pics is the model of thermal camera used.

I do think that this new "evidence" might be enough to give those, still on the fence, a little shove onto the "Grant's reflection" side.

Here are a few clips of the footage:

Here are some links to clips from the episode that I encoded and uploaded to this site.

This first one is the split-screen footage of them entering the room:

This next clip is of the thermal cam footage of the "figure", I slowed it down to 1/3 speed:

This last clip is of the tour they took of the room:
